Becoming a director of Little Fingers Day Nursery in Darenth is a dream come true for Nicola

"I have worked within the childcare sector for 35 years and hold a NVQ 4 in childcare, during this time have held senior posts in other nurseries before becoming a director of Little Fingers Day Nursery, a dream come true."

My mother, Patricia Kinsey and I brought the nursery in August 2006 and have never looked back. Since having the nursery we have made many changes to improve the nursery and to meet Ofsted standards.

The Nursery Manager is Katie Savage. Katie holds a NVQ 4 qualification in childcare, and has many years' experience. She has a hands on approach within the playrooms, and is very approachable. Kate will help you and your child settle into nursery life with ease. Also assisting Kate in the running of Little Fingers Day Nursery  is Leanne Blake, our deputy manager. Leanne has worked at the nursery for many years helping to make our preschool room the excellent standard that it is today and also holds an NVQ 4 qualification. The rest of our team is made up by fully qualified nursery nurses as you can see below. Each room has a room leader and we also have a cook and a cleaner.

Staff Information: -

 •  We have experienced qualified staff.
 •  All staff hold an enhanced DBS check.
 •  Nursery Management oversee the day-to-day running and will cover staff when needed.
 •  There are designated Room Leaders in each room.
 •  Staff are encouraged to attend regular training to keep up-to-date with changes and help keep our care to a high standard.

The team at Little Fingers Day Nursery  are friendly and dedicated to their profession. They are focused on providing great care, education and fun. Our staff structure is displayed in our reception. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with who is who, although all our girls would be happy to assist you in any way.
